We endeavour to deliver the best quality care for our precious infants and toddlers of their first 1000 days which are scientifically proved to impact their entire life. We understand that life can be busy for mums to start their work when their children are still young. Being nurtured and growing in the familiar home-setting environment with a trusting and knowledgeable primary caregiver becomes priority for family's choice. Our knowledgeable and experienced coordinators are New Zealand fully registered early childhood teachers and have many years of infants and toddlers' age group working experiences at local high quality childcare centres!
We provide safe, intimate, predicable, love, calm, respectful and language-rich learning environment with age-appropriate resources and authentic choices and experiences for our children to grow their confidence and competence. They are encouraged to have freedom to explore the environment and make sense of the world with their sense of wonder.
Relationship is key at Starting Line. In here, we value parents/whanau's voices and aspirations about their tamariki. We love to encourage the social interaction among our children. We are also role modelling and refining our respective approach within our every day practice with our tamariki.
At home-setting environment, the learning experiences can be very overarching. We aim to provide wide and diverse encounters and experiences for our infants and toddlers. The strong connection and regular participation with our community will be considered as part of the curriculum.
We will be working closely with Ministry of Education and our legislative documentation will be compliant to the license. Our curriculum will be aligned with principles, strands, goals and learning outcomes derived from Te Whariki (Early Childhood Curriculum).
